This babydoll top is constructed almost entirely from broderie anglaise, making the lace technique itself the design rather than an embellishment. The high yoke, ladder band and allover eyelet body create a layered, textural white-on-white composition.
The lace yoke is the focal point — concentric arc patterns and geometric lattice are worked into a structured collar panel. Below, a horizontal ladder lace band separates the yoke from the gathered body, which uses scattered eyelet florals for a lighter density.
