The cherry version takes a more graphic, contemporary approach — bold red cherry pairs scattered across white muslin with plain shirred smocking instead of decorative cross-stitch. The result is cleaner and more pop-art than the other series members.
Plain multi-row smocking on the bodice provides a textured stretch fit without the colored cross-stitch overlay used in the other series colorways. Each cherry pair is padded satin stitch with stem-stitch stems and satin-stitch leaves.
The most contemporary-leaning piece in the series — works for trend-driven boutiques, Instagram brands and younger demographics. Part of a 5-piece smocked peplum series (AM25060–AM25064).
